The packaging of stainless steel carts must balance anti-collision, scratch resistance, moisture protection, and transportation convenience. Specific methods are usually adjusted based on product specifications, transportation distance (domestic/cross-border), and customer requirements. Common solutions are as follows:
>>Basic Protective Layer (Core Scratch Resistance)
The main body of the cart (frame, tabletop, handle, etc.) is first fully wrapped with PE protective film/bubble film, with key coverage on the stainless steel surface to prevent scratches caused by vibration during transportation.
If the cart is equipped with detachable components (such as laminates, small wheels), these components will be individually wrapped with EPE foam or bubble film to prevent collision damage between parts.
>>Inner Packaging (Reinforcement and Partitioning)
Small carts (e.g., household/light industrial models): Mostly packaged in 5-layer corrugated cartons. Inside the carton, corrugated cardboard is used to separate component areas, or foam blocks/air columns are filled for fixation to prevent components from shaking inside the carton.
Large/heavy-duty carts (e.g., for slaughterhouses, warehouses): May use plywood crates (complying with export fumigation standards, such as IPPC marking). The main body of the cart is fixed with wooden battens inside the crate to ensure stable load-bearing, making it especially suitable for cross-border sea transportation or long-distance land transportation.
>>Special-Scenario Packaging (Customized Requirements)
Moisture protection needs: When transporting to humid areas or by sea, desiccants will be placed inside the packaging, or an additional waterproof woven bag will be wrapped outside the PE film.
Export compliance: The packaging will be labeled with clear product information labels (name, specification, quantity), warning signs (e.g., "Handle with Care", "Keep Dry"), as well as customs codes and shipping marks required for export. Plywood crates must comply with the quarantine requirements of the destination country (such as non-wood packaging declaration or fumigation certificate).
